Program Learning Outcomes

At the end of the program, students are expected to:

Common to all programs

  1. articulate the latest developments in their specific field of practice. (PQF level 6 descriptor);
  2. effectively communicate orally and in writing using both English and Filipino languages;
  3. work effectively and independently in multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams (PQF level 6 descriptor);
  4. act in recognition of professional, social, and ethical responsibilities;
  5. preserve and promote “Filipino historical and cultural heritage” (based on RA 7722);

Common to the discipline (Agriculture Education)

 

  1. generate and share knowledge relevant to specific fields in the study of agriculture;
  2. formulate and implement agricultural development plans and programs;

Specific to the BS Agriculture

 

  1. undertake independent research to address questions, or issues and problems confronting agriculture;
  2. demonstrate sufficient understanding of the philosophy and principles of sustainable agriculture and its practice;
  3. generate, share, and use agricultural information from a variety of sources and formats using appropriate media and technology;
  4. develop and engage in agricultural business and livelihood activities;
  5. demonstrate responsibility and accountability for own learning in order to pursue further learning; and

Common to the University of the Philippines

 

  1. lead with honor and excellence in public service and in fields of practice.
